Description:

Overview:  We are excited to announce that Bridge Investment Group will be sponsoring a walking challenge for all employees from May 1st - May 31st. This challenge is part of our focus on employee wellness and is being hosted by Marquee Health, our wellness partner. Participants will be asked to track their steps online – and those who reach weekly and overall goals will be eligible for a variety of prizes and awards.

The Walking Challenge will promote wellness by encouraging participants to walk more often during the day. Participants will record the number of daily steps taken and enter this number into the challenge portal. Participants may use their own pedometer or fitness tracking device. Note: several devices (FitBit, Jawbone, etc) may electronically link with the site. While it is recommended that participants log steps every evening, they have up to seven days to record daily steps.

When is the challenge? The  challenge will be held from May 1st to May 31st, 2018.  Registration will be open from April 23rd - May 1st

How do I enroll in the challenge? Simply go to www.bridgegapwellness.com and enter your personal username and password.  If you are a first time visitor to the site, you will need to create your own username and password by clicking on the ‘Click Here to Register’ registration button and entering the code ‘bridge'.  After logging in to the site, simply click on the ‘My Challenges’ tab at the top of the page.  Once you land on the Challenges page, you are now enrolled in the challenge!

How do I log my activity?  Participants will use a pedometer or personal tracking device to record the number of daily steps taken and record this number into the challenge portal. While it is recommended that participants log steps every evening, they have up to seven days to record daily steps.

What are the weekly goals?

Week 1:               6,000 Steps per Day / 42,000 Steps per Week

Week 2:               7,000 Steps per Day / 49,000 Steps per Week

Week 3:               8,000 Steps per Day / 56,000 Steps per Week

Week 4:               9,000 Steps per Day / 63,000 Steps per Week

How am I eligible for the prizes?  Each week, 2 winners will be randomly selected out of the participants who have met the step goal for that week for a PRIZE. All participants that track and meet the goal for 3 of the 4 weeks will earn a $25 gift card and 200 points for the Bridge the Gap Wellness Program.
