Fitness Flurry is the strength and fitness based stream of the Winds of Change 2018 challenge. The challenge will run Monday October 29 through Sunday December 9, for a total of 6 weeks.
Varied workouts are one of the best ways to get results and achieve your fitness goals. In this stream of the Winds of Change challenge, you will earn points for each workout you do and for your amount of improvement from the beginning to the end, as well as general active living by counting steps.
You will participate in a time trial of an obstacle course in the fitness studio during week 1 and week 6. These times will determine your progress and earn you 15 points for every percent of improvement you see.
The other activities you can earn points for are group exercise classes, CPC circuits, and individual workouts (20+ minutes). All of these can be completed at the CPC wellenss centre or elsewhere. Your steps will automatically sync and you will receive one point for every 2000 steps you take.
Prizes will be awarded at the end of the challenge, one for the person with the most progress in their initial and final obstacle course trial times, and draw prizes from the entire pool of participants. Details TBA
