Here at PLK, we’ve committed to getting and staying healthier...one step at a time. And we have the DRIVE to make it happen! So what better way to get our summer kicked off right than with a walking challenge?
Partnering with the teams you were assigned at the summer outing, you will aim to walk your way toward an average of 10,000 steps each day. Whether you’re pounding the pavement on tours or grounds, making some laps around the office, taking a stroll on your lunch break, or walking with the family in the evening, there are countless places you can fit in some extra steps each day.
Here’s how it will work...
WHAT: Step by Step Walking Challenge—walk your way, step by step, to 10,000 steps each day for 12 weeks
WHO: 12 teams of 10, mixed across locations and job functions
WHEN: July 9—September 30
WHY: For your health and wellness, camaraderie, bragging rights, and of course...prizes! The top teams will be eligible for small cash and/or gear prizes, nothing major because we want this to be a friendly and fair competition after all
