If there's anything that we know about improving health, it's this: one of the greatest predictors of sickness and death is a low fitness level. This challenge encourages participants to accumulate at least 30 minutes of walking for exercise or 10,000 steps per day. Most people walk 5,000 steps per day in their daily living and to reach 10,000 they must add at least another 5,000 intentional steps to reach that goal. That should require 30 to 45 minutes or more to reach that goal. The Walking4Wellness Challenge hopes that you will use your tracker to add those steps automatically by linking your tracker to this app or manually entering the time you spend walking or working out to achieve that minimum 30 minutes of moderate activity.
